CONFERENCE CO-PRESIDENTS


OGE OGBOGU, Class of 2024

Oge Ogbogu is a senior at Harvard College and student of Dunster House studying History of Science and Human Developmental Regenerative Biology with a secondary in African Studies. She is captain of Harvard's policy debate team, a member of Enabib which concerns African menstrual health, and on the lavender room editorial on campus. She likes to read, listen to music, take walks through campus and experiment with photography. She is excited to connect HUBHA to the greater Harvard community through community events and collaborate with Greater Boston institutes impassioned about Black health in various facets.

IMANI FONFIELD, Class of 2025

Imani Fonfield is a junior at Harvard College in Lowell House studying History of Science with a secondary field in Global Health and Health Policy. At the College, Imani is a history of medicine research assistant and book reviewer under the guidance of a Brigham and Women’s Hospital physician-historian with published articles in INQUIRY/Sage Journals and (pending) Health Affairs. She is also an inaugural public service journalism fellow for the Phillips Brooks House Leaders in Public Service Journalism Fellowship, where she publishes a series of alumni leader profiles in the Harvard Gazette. Imani’s academic and professional passions are deeply rooted in the right to health. With work experience at Partners In Health, medical debt data collection research experience for DollarFor, and more, Imani aspires to use the skills of her concentration to pursue a career at the intersection of medicine, law, engaged scholarship, and patient advocacy.


CONFERENCE CO-DIRECTORS


MURIEL DOL, Class of 2024

Muriel Dol is a senior double concentrating in History of Science and Psychology. This year she is serving on the conference committee to help organize conference logistics. She is a passionate advocate for the utilization of fitness as a health intervention for marginalized communities.

KIRA TRAYLOR, Class of 2024

Kira Traylor is a senior at Harvard College in Quincy House studying History of Science with a secondary in Global Health and Health Policy. Outside of HUBHA, she has been a program associate at Health Leads as well as multi-year involvement with Harvard organizations such as Harvard Undergraduate Plant Based, Harvard Food Lab for Kids, Harvard Health Lab, and Harvard Health Policy Review. She is extremely excited to plan a memorable, community-centric conference!

TAYLOR GHEE, Class of 2027

Taylor Ghee is a first year in Greenough Harvard Yard planning to study History of Science with a secondary in Global Health and Health Policy. Her interest in medicine and policy stems from personal experiences with the healthcare system, and she has since been working with various organizations to promote Black health, wellness, and education. She is so thankful to have had the opportunity to work with the Conference Cohort and is looking forward to an amazing conference.


COMMUNITY OUTREACH CO-DIRECTORS


OSASE IDAHOR, Class of 2025

Osase Idahor is a junior in Quincy House concentrating in Environmental Science and Public Policy while on the premed track. He looks forward to bringing HUBHA to the people this year by making sure that all students and student organizations on campus are invited and included in all HUBHA events, including the annual conference to meet local Boston leaders. We gotta show out— to colleges, high schools, community organizations, and news media to grow interest in supporting our efforts to advance Black health.

MARYANN UDUEBO, Class of 2026

MaryAnn Uduebo is Sophomore in Kirkland House studying Human Developmental and Regenerative Biology and Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. She plans to pursue a career in medicine after college and specialize as an OB/GYN. Outside of HUBHA, she is a board member of the Association of Black Harvard Women and the Undergraduate Radio Station as well as a general member of the Nigerian Students Association, the Harvard Society of Black Scientists and Engineers, and volunteer at the Cambridge Women’s Center. Beyond school and extracurriculars, she is interesting in music, writing, reading, and art.

HILARY ADELEKE, Class of 2024

Hilary “Busayo” Adeleke is a senior in Winthrop House studying History of Science with a secondary in Global Health and Health Policy. Outside of HUBHA, she is deeply involved in the Nigerian Students Association, Radcliffe’s Emerging Leaders Program, and Tufts MOTHER Lab. In her free time, you’ll find her reading, spending time with family and friends, and watching Nollywood movies. This year, she is looking forward to connecting HUBHA to local health advocacy organizations!

JOELLE WILLIAMS, Class of 2026

Joelle Williams is a sophomore at Harvard College studying Human Developmental and Regenerative Biology. She has joint interests in medicine as well as Spanish and is super excited to share this year’s conference with the community!

MICHAELA ULOHO-OKUNDAYE, Class of 2027

Michaela Uloho-Okundaye is a first year at Harvard College concentrating in Neuroscience with a secondary in Global Health and Health Policy. She is incredibly passionate about Black health advocacy and lowering the barriers for black students pursuing medicine. Outside of HUBHA, she is involved with organizations related to STEM, advocacy, and climate change. In the future, Michaela hopes to pursue a career as a neurosurgeon while advocating for health equity and decreasing the racial disparities in medicine.
